They do add 10% service charge onto the bill and tell you they can remove it if you wish!!!! "Amazing opportunity to stay in a real castle with such a rich history. The staff, especially Jon, were outstanding. Everyone was so accommodating. It seems like they have been making constant improvements to the property. The spa closes early (6p) and several amenities in the spa were out of order. "This was a beautiful hotel! It is a historic building so it has it’s quirks but it was neat to stay here! The staff was friendly and this one included the free breakfast. The only thing I would caution is the room was a long way through a maze of stairs and corridors so if you brought múltiple suitcases and have a car then plan ahead and only take what you will need and be wearing the next day in your smaller case otherwise this place was fantastic! "All staff were perfect. They made us feel special. Continental breakfast was not enough. Our room was close to street we could hear the car's sounds and there was a noise from stairs constantly. Hotel could be considered close to the city centre. Bus station in front of the hotel."
