Fantastic property! Has everything you would need. We got the 2 bedroom apartment and it had the studio the one bedroom apartment so really we had two bedrooms two bathrooms a kitchen and a kitchenette! Everything is well thought out for a comfortable stay I highly recommend! The only downside is that it is at the top of the hill (worth it as the views are incredible!). You can walk down to the main areas (10-15 min) or you can drive.

Die Unterkunft ist viel zu teuer, für was sie bietet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Untergeschoss ohne Fenster, kleiner als eine Schiffskajüte und bezahlten trotzdem 130.- pro Nacht ohne Frühstück.

Hi Suzanna, We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. We are also sorry that you thought 200 a night was expensive for your room. Highview is actually one of the most affordable studios / apartments to stay in Queenstown, and we do pride ourselves on being priced well so we are sorry this fell short of your expectations. As studios / apartments we do not offer a breakfast option- again we are sorry if there was some confusion here. We hope that you at least enjoyed some of your time in Queenstown.

Stunning lake view. Apartment was comfortable and spacious. The walk up the hill is steep but totally doable- don’t let that deter you.

The studio room I stayed in had an inadequate kitchenette, no sink, no dishwasher , no scrub to wash the dishes, just toaster and microwave. Laundry was a paid laundry system, there was no washer or dryer in the room. Internet speed was good. No air conditioning but had a fan. Studio room is in the basement, so no view. Felt the room charge was high for what I got.

The view from the apartment was stunning. The apartment was modern and spacious. It was the first truly accessible apartment we stayed in across both islands. It was just perfect!

Andrea was awesome. She helped us through a little situation when we first got there. We like the 1&2 bedroom apartments, but would avoid the studio apartments.

The views and rooms like images online. Check in process was easy. The room was heated and safe water was provided on arrival. The only thing not to my personal preference was the softness of the mattress. The king bed is made up of two twin beds so it’s not a seamless transition and dipped in the middle. There are a lot of road works around the hotel and Queenstown in general. Nothing that the operators can do but something for future guest to be aware of.

Overall experience was good with easy check in and check out. Small reminder for cleaning staff: there can be towels hanging on the other side of the door. We had previous guests towels there.

This apartment was perfect for our family stay Sept 23. We had ground floor which worked perfectly for a family member with accessibility issues. The shower in the main bedroom accommodated for this need also. View was wonderful. The apartment is on a hill with quite a steep walk into town, but we knew this before booking. It's Queenstown, so you expect this. We did have a hire car, but due to minimal parking spaces in town, we just used an uber or taxi when going out to dinner etc. Perfect place, wonderful lake view from our 2 bed apartment, clean and spacious, staff lovely, communicated via email before arriving. Would stay again.

Comfortable stay with excellent view
The views are amazing and the furnishing and kitchen utensils are top notch. The bathroom will benefit from heated tiles and drain for shower water in the bathroom. Also exhaust/air freshner would be nice. Otherwise amenities were top notch and easy to get to Queenstown cbd with a very pleasant place to stay! Well recommended.

Convenience of close town access in a tidy comfortable unit was perfect. Was nice to have the kids in the same unit but not right on top of us. A hot spa after skiing is a definate bonus.

Checkin was easy and pleasant even though (like everywhere it seems) they were understaffed. Our apartment was gorgeous and clean with an incredible view. The dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer were easy to use with instructions they provided. Only quibble is that no paper towels or napkins are provided. Almost everything else one might need in a kitchen are there (soap, utensils dishes, etc). We used washclothes from the bath during our only meal in. But as we were not planning on cooking anymore during the stay, it wasn't a big problem. Overall, it was close to perfect. Even with large construction down the street, it was only a 10 min walk to the bustling center of town. Would definitely return.
