"Great location in a shopping location and not in the craziness of Queenstown centre. Plenty of food shops and nice coffee close by. Love the happy hour and restaurant facility. Lovely staff. Great room, bed, pillows, bath condiments etc. always stay here when visiting Queenstown ."

"This was a great hotel within walking distance to shops and cafes, as well as near the river for a picturesque walk looking up to the mountains. This hotel is about a 20 minute drive to the township of Queenstown; however, it is very close to the airport. Handy for access to joy flights or if leaving early or coming in late. If you want to be close to the action of Queenstown, it’s a bit far out, but if you’ve got a car and can get around then it’s a much cheaper option."

"Great location and room was still new enough to be in a lovely condition. Easy check in and check out, with a convenient restaurant and bar on site. The let down comes from house-keeping. The vanity in the bathroom had a blue ring (soap or similar) when we arrived and even when we asked for the bathroom to be restocked (toilet paper! An essential) as well as cleaned, they didn't do it. We had to go downstairs to FOH who gave us two rolls. This was on the second day of asking. FOH staff also didn't explain house-keeping hours, so we had to vacate our room to make sure it was cleaned. We stayed four nights and it was obvious the room wasn't vacuumed at all during that time either. We would stay again, but would work with FOH staff to ensure these things didn't reoccur."

"Front desk was spectacular. His name is Henao. He was kind, patient and understanding as there was many customers there. Also, Joshua was the valet and took care of loading and unloading our car."

"I decided to book a last minute holiday to Queenstown and chose to stay at Kamana Lakehouse. Super clean and helpful, bubbly staff. The only negative is the construction happening near the hotel, making too much noise in the mornings however this is out of the control of the hotel itself. Breakfast options had too many options that contained nuts."

"My friend and I had a great stay at this hotel, which is perched on a hill with stunning views of the mountains and Lake Wakatipu. The lakeside studio room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with a handy kitchenette that came in useful for late night hunger in winter. Overall, it was an excellent stay, though a more modern TV would have made the in-room entertainment even better."
