Surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of wildlife. Nice pool to relax beside after a hot day. There were issues with showers in both rooms but problems were attended to immediately.

Cozy Location
Very plesant staff. Older facility that is getting some loving care. Pool and resteraunt area very nice. Rooms are basic and being worked on as well. Good location for both Manuel Antonio and Quepos Marina area. Good value for those who do not need 5 star pampering

Bongo lever fint op til sine tre ⭐⭐⭐ naturen og dyrelivet er fuldstændig fantastisk! Sengen er god! Stedet er noget slidt og man skal ikke være sart over en gekko eller en bille på værelset. Rengøring kunne være bedre, men det hænger nok lidt sammen med det slidte look. Venligt personale, primært unge som hjælper og ejer. Vi havde fire gode nætter og fik god morgenmad og dyr lige uden for døren👏🐒🦜🦎

Clean and friendly hotel with monkeys around!
Bongo is a really cool place to stay if you like to see wildlife! I saw squirrel monkeys, many many white faced monkeys, iguanas and parrots during our stay! We also liked the double bungalows beside eachother. The staff are so nice and we felt safe! Downsides- the breakfast is terrible- cold coffee, watery eggs and hot dogs every morning. I couldn't eat it. No water machines and you have to walk 10-15 minutes downhill/uphill to the nearest convenience store.

Bongo is a nice, simple property with a pool. It was quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly but not helpful when incidents came up, and they were limited with info on things to do. Our room was clean but there was a strange smell around our bungalow. Their breakfasts are varied and nice. Their dinner menu is limited. Overall the property gets a 3/5.

L’hôtel est situé à 2km à pieds du petit centre ville et à bien plus des diverses plages… Il est possible de prendre un BUS … Le confort est moyen… les chambres sont vieillottes et rénovées un peu à la va vite… L’ensemble est convenable mais le prix n’est pas correct par rapport à la qualité Le petit déjeuner est correct sans plus… Franchement à plus de 150€ la nuit je m’attendais à mieux

Beautiful stay!
Nice quiet and comfortable stay outside of the bustle of Manuel Antonio, which still is accessible by public bus - or cheap taxi. Beautiful green location with pool. Great breakfast area that is open all day. Friendly and atrentive staff.

I liked the layout of rooms. The pool and eating area was situated with a lovely view. The rooms and bathrooms were smaller than expected. The food was good yet Americanized.

We had a lovely stay, beautiful surroundings, very friendly and welcoming staff. An issue with shower was quickly resolved. Breakfast was good and more then enough to get you going through the day. Only minus is the lack of even a single cup/glass in the room

Beautiful hotel
The hotel is beautiful, with great location near the Manuel Antonio National Park and restaurants. The beach is in 10 minutes drive. You can also use bus from nearby station. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Especially manager Eduardo was very nice, polite and helpful. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but its charm, service and price well overweight it.

El estacionamiento no es muy grande, por lo que hubo una noche en la que no se tuvo espacio para parquear, sin embargo se acomodó el carro bajo los arboles. Podria ayudar el demarcar los espacios, para que haya espacio para mas carros y que no quede a cada quien como acomodarse

The manager and staff super helpful. They answer pretty all my questions about what to do and where to eat. Location- good location and the view is amazing and 10 minutes walk to the beach. It is quiet and you do not hear the traffic. Room- Clean, comfortable, and good AC. They even have a mini fridge. They do have a pool and continental breakfast. The Free Wi-Fi also good. Laundry- complimentary on same day and you can’t really beat that. Overall- Very happy.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise dort übernachtet, wären aber gerne noch ein paar Tage geblieben. Zimmer ist sehr einfach und funktional, hat aber A/C und alles was es braucht. Sehr grün rundherum und schöner Pool sowie sehr schöner Ort, um zu frühstücken. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
