"This is an ALL INCLUSIVE resort. I've been to multiple all-inclusive resorts and this wasn't it! There was not a fridge or microwave in the rooms. The rooms are VERY outdated. Beds are hard as rocks. Food was less than desirable. Snack bar had old food sitting, bread was hard, not much variety. Booked for 3 nights, cancelled 2nd 2 nights and stayed elsewhere. Rolando at the front desk was awesome and very helpful! Save your money!"

"Location was beautiful, although several things were not up to par for a resort. I spend 5 days of my honeymoon at Shana, and the room wasn't honeymoon material for the cost. The room had a great view and was clean, but the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the room was very dated (fixtures, bathroom, rusty patio gate, bed and all furniture). "What an amazing hotel. Too many awesome things to name them all. I never write reviews. Their staff, the pools, the personal concierge, seeing monies, macaws, lizards was all just a a first class experience. You are not close to walk anywhere as it’s up the mountain a bit- but they shuttle to the hot spots and Uber is crazy cheap and fast to get there."

"Our stay here, exceeded our expectations. The room was so spacious and really pretty. The location was perfect in between the town and the beaches around. The staff were also extremely helpful and nice to help us out to do activities and make sure we had transportation. Crazy to have the experience of eating breakfast/lunch/dinner and have the possibility to run into the nature animals."
