Property was well-maintained and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool is small, but nice. Food prices are comparable to the area. Location is very good. Biggest draw back is the hotel does not provide towels for the beach. Also, you have to rent a beach umbrella and chairs each day from locals - however this seemed to be common.
Beach is a short walk from the hotel.

The location is amazing. Has everything you need and the staff were fabulous. I sort of hated that they still use hard keys and the door locks just seemed flimsy.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The restaurant and pool area was perfect for our family. Our kids could swim while we waited for meals. The food was great and they even had some local IPAs at the bar. The room was clean and had everything we needed: a mini fridge, coffee maker and shampoo! It is about a 4 minute walk to the beach, which allowed us to go back and forth to the room throughout the day so we didn’t have to bring all our belongings with us to the beach. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach as I heard parking can be a pain. The parking at the hotel was easy and on site. The beach was stunning! We had a very good time during our stay.

Jungle Beach Hotel – Manuel Antonio Great value and perfect location! The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, which makes life easy after a beach day. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Manuel Antonio National Park—honestly easier than trying to drive and deal with the parking circus. The beach is right across the street, and for $20 you can rent an umbrella and chairs for the whole day. There’s even a beach bar with good food and drinks, so you can park yourself there and call it a day. Some of our favorite nearby restaurants were Samui Thai, Clara Qui Si, and the little local spot Dónde Alex, Overall, an awesome place for the price—comfortable, convenient, and full of charm. Would absolutely stay again.

Dear Owner, I am writing to express my serious concern regarding the way the restaurant, bar, and kitchen operations were being handled during my visit. It was completely unacceptable to see that these areas appeared to be managed by essentially one person while more than 30 guests arrived for dinner service. An operation like that reflects a troubling lack of empathy, not only toward the customers, who are left waiting and underserved, but even more so toward the employees, who are clearly being overworked and unfairly burdened. Running service in this manner makes the establishment look cheap and abusive toward its labor force. That is especially disappointing because the place has the potential to be truly great. I want to be clear about one important point: every employee we encountered was unbelievably helpful, respectful, and highly professional. The problem was not the staff. The problem was that they were visibly overworked, unsupported, and placed in an unfair situation. I sincerely hope you take this observation seriously and review your staffing and operational practices. Your employees deserve better support, and your customers deserve a level of service consistent with the quality your hotel could offer. Respectfully a group of 10 people

Very nice hotel. Rooms are decent but no hot water. Close to the beach shopping bars and restaurants with easy transportation into town if you so desire. Restaurant and pool area is nice and monkeys come to visit. You also hear them howling in the morning lol

A very suitable place to stay in Manuel Antonio. Convenient beach access and within easy walking distance to good restaurants. We saw several monkeys while around the pool one day. The on-site food is a little pricey, but they open pretty early which was helpful for us one morning. It was nice to be able to organize transport back to San Jose directly with the hotel (pay in cash to save on taxes!).
