Beautiful property and accommodating, friendly staff. The view from both sides is stunning, the wildlife is abundant, and it's a great middle point in Quepos, 10-15 minutes from everything including Manuel Antonio. Air conditioning came in handy during hot and humid days, and while the ziplines were closed for maintenance, the hanging bridges were challenging and fun. Highly recommend.

Very well maintained rooms. They have a common kitchen with a microwave and a refrigerator which is quite useful. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are bit short on parking (can take about 3 cars) and then we have to park on the street - which is the only drawback.

We loved the view from this place. Balcony for our room, plus plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy the sunset. They also have a pair of nesting toucans, so we enjoyed seeing them every morning and evening. They have a walking trail with hanging bridges that is pretty nice and a free morning tour (book early). The bus stop was a short walk away, so we didn't drive anywhere when we were at Manuel Antonio. There is also a good soda and small convenience store at the bottom of the hill.

The staff was great ! Room was nice . The from the king room was several homes and the ocean over the top of the building . If the air conditioner was running the barking dogs and motorcycles would have kept us awake ?

Included breakfast was delicious and the free guided tour on the property where you could walk on hanging bridges and see an abundance of wildlife was a bonus. Our guide Jose was very informative. We learned that a nearby tree was housing toucan babies and were fortunate enough to watch the mama toucan fly in and out of the tree. The room was small but the views were incredible. Overall a great stay.

Had an awesome view of rainforest from the room. Saw Tucan birds and monkeys from the room. The location is awesome with a 360 degree view from the top of the rainforest, mountains. Got to see beautiful sunrise and sunset. Restaurant and bar was nice as well. Highly recommend.

Clean and modernized room and bath. Beautiful location with ocean and mountain views. Hotel is inside the mountain top park with lots of beautiful plants and lovely animals. Love the multiple long and high hanging bridges spanning from tree to tree. Lots of fun to walk, climb, and observe in the park. Delicious breakfast in a lovely open cafe platform with wonderful natural views.

Everything was very accessible. The views are out of this world and you can literally see animals from the restaurant balcony. Beautiful hanging bridges and trails around as well. Overall very upscale and nice feeling hotel with some of the friendliest and most attentive staff I’ve encountered. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Manuel Antonio.

I cannot even imagine staying anywhere else in Quepos! First of all we already planning to come back! The hotel is awesome! The people are amazing! The location is outstanding! We have seen all the animals at the hotel park! 7 hanging bridges and forest filled with beautiful animals! All 3 types of monkeys, sloths, lizards, kinkajou, agouti, black iguanas, parrots, tucans and many more! Pura Vida!

The room and bathroom were spotless. GREAT staff - very attentive, kind and professional. The food was excellent. The views (ocean and rainforest), wildlife (monkeys and toucans were abundant), location - all excellent. We definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.

Staff was wonderful. Location fabulous. Rooms were tidy and functional. The hotel property is a private park with trails and hanging bridges fully accessible to the public. A free 7 am guided tour of the property was the highlight of our stay (Jose, our guide, was excellent). Slight demerits for non-functioning internet (staff said there was some utility work going on) and cold showers.

Overall it was a very nice hotel, nicely situated at the top of the mountain. A main reason for me to remove a star: check in was supposed to be 3PM, we were still waiting for our room at 5pm, finally got the room code at 5:10PM. When I got into the room, there was still a used glass with water in it. Overall the room was clean, with great view. The bed was comfortable and real queen size. The buffet breakfast was decent with good variety of eggs, protein (chicken or sausage), plantains and roasted potatoes. There were also yummy overnight oats. There was an ice machine on the 2nd floor and water dispenser at the entrance of the restaurant, which were convenient. At our breakfast on the 2nd day , we were visited by many monkeys, saw toucans, and green parrots. We didn't take advantage of the nature tour because we were starved at 7am and didn't want to wait until 9:15 to do the tour after breakfast. It was already so hot by 8am, we wanted to be on the beach!

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at this amazing hotel for three nights, and I truly enjoyed every moment. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant was the highlight for us—we had both breakfast and dinner there, and the food was fresh and delicious. We were especially excited to see monkeys during breakfast, along with many birds and other animals. We also enjoyed walking across the hanging bridges and exploring the trails. It was a truly wonderful experience. Thank you to all the staff at Mountain Top Park Hotel. We will definitely come again! Rhoda
