"1. Inconsistent check-in information
We were initially informed that check-in was only available between 3pm and 6pm. However, when we contacted the hotel due to a travel delay, we were then told check-in was available until 8pm. This inconsistency caused unnecessary stress during our journey.
2. Lack of luggage assistance
At reception, we were told that someone would assist us with our luggage, but no one came. We ended up carrying all our luggage ourselves. If assistance is not available, expectations should be managed more clearly.
3. Poor cleanliness standards
One of the bath towels provided was visibly dirty and had not been properly cleaned. When we reported this to the front desk, there was no apology or acknowledgement, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this standard.
4. Unreliable laundry service
We were told that laundry given in the morning would be returned in the afternoon. However, it was not ready until the next morning, which disrupted our travel plans. Additionally, the clean clothes were returned in the same bag used for dirty laundry, despite our request for a new one.
5. Noise and room comfort issues
The hotel was very noisy due to a nearby bar playing music until late evening and additional noise early in the morning. The curtains also did not block out sunlight effectively, making it difficult to rest properly."
