"Original grand building in a pleasant location.
Poor value for money.
Reluctant to check in early, despite agreed that we could to be able to attend a wedding on time.
Disappointing view from Room 7 and 8 even though booking was made 7 months earlier. When this was mentioned to the staff at reception, we were told we had not paid extra for the view.
The staff members in the dining room were very helpful and friendly."

"We were able to check in early with a payment of 79 pounds but the room was not what we paid for.
Some of the furniture was broken.
The reception was unattended for a while.
The food in the restaurant was fine and the breakfast was full English from 6 am which is great when catching an early flight.
The location is fantastic, being right in the north terminal at Gatwick."
