"Original grand building in a pleasant location.
Poor value for money.
Reluctant to check in early, despite agreed that we could to be able to attend a wedding on time.
Disappointing view from Room 7 and 8 even though booking was made 7 months earlier. When this was mentioned to the staff at reception, we were told we had not paid extra for the view.
The staff members in the dining room were very helpful and friendly."

"I loved that it was a small but efficient and comfortable room. I’ve needed a place to spend the night and it served its purpose. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was spotless and plenty cool. I really enjoyed my stay there and I would recommend it to others and do it again if the need arises.
Only thing I didn’t like was that shower faucet didn’t work correctly, it got stuck open and couldn’t turn it off."

"We’re so glad we decided to stay here instead of some chain hotel! It had so much character & charm. Our room was large & very comfortable. The bathroom was also large & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds could use a little TLC (my husband was a landscaper 😉) but they were beautiful nonetheless. There was a wonderful Pub within walking distance where the food & atmosphere was wonderful! Perfect ending to our European vacation. Thank you 😊"

"Cute spot, good location. Close to a bus stop, grocery store and airport(Gatwick). For check-in, you’re required to call using whatsup (which we didn’t have) so thankfully someone was around so we could use their phone to contact front desk staff."
