"This is a fun place to stay. I don't mind the resort fees here as they actually have a resort. Awesome pool, bar, food truck/restaurant. Food is legit!
The gay pride stuff is over the top in the lobby and pool area. I'd say tone that down a bit. Just like I wouldn't want to walk in and see posters of Trump all over the place, I prefer to not see political ideology markers while I'm on vacation. Interestingly enough, did not see what appeared to be any gay couples there. Great family environment with lots of kids in the pool. Rooms are tastfully done.
Includes shuttle to the historical area/Seaport. Saves on parking fees near tourist area. Oh, and parking at the hotel is included. I did my research and you cannot find much free/included parking at most Key West hotels.
