This guest house is in a great location. Twenty minute walk to most attractions. Breakfast was adequate for the type of facility. Coffee was very good! Room was clean. Staff were friendly and responsive. Would go back.

Beautiful property, great environment, but buyer beware is the walls are thin and in a quiet neighborhood as this, you can very much hear any noise from the other guests. Lovely staff and complimentary breakfast was a very nice touch! The pool was heated and after 10+ hours of walking was a wonderful treat to soak in! Towels at the front desk so you don’t have to use the ones in your room. Overall 10/10.

We enjoyed the breakfast that was offered. This was also a great location within walking distance to many things. The staff were very kind and helpful.

It was clean, “cheap and cheerful.” It’s right in the road and you can hear everything…it’s also on the flight path. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but nothing exciting. The pool is tiny.

Author's Guesthouse was at a great location for us! We enjoyed the privacy of our room, it was clean, and the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle of Duval street. It was on a busier street but with the plants\trees\fence traffic did not bother us. I liked the gates locked at night (even though I never felt unsafe on the Island). The heated pool was down for service for a day and night and we weren't offered anything to compensate for that( it was an important feature for me bc of the cooler weather at the time). However, it was up and running again the next day when they said it would be. Would stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and cozy. The grounds were small but very nicely appointed. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I will stay here again without a doubt and would recommend the Authors of Key West Guest House to anyone who is looking for a clean, friendly and accommodating place to stay that is a short(10 min.) walk to Duval St.

Diana the host was great let me storage my luggage till room was ready and gave me a early check in. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Had a great stay and would recommend to everyone.
