"This is not your five-star resort. It is clean, cute, and more than fine for a stay. We chose this property due to the location. We weren't in Key West for the typical Key West stuff. I wanted to be close to the port for the Dry Tortugas ferry. The resort is a bit outdated, but well maintained. The rooms are layers of paint and bathrooms are older colors, so it doesn't look great, but it is very clean. The bathroom was very small but served its purpose just fine.

"The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful. The pools were great. The only cons was that there were some roaches in the bathroom and hair from the previous guests in the shower. The food is delicious but quite pricey and it includes an automatic gratuity fee which adds up quite quickly."

"Everything about our 1 bedroom direct beach access ocean view suite was spectacular except for the jacuzzi tub in the room. The water wasn’t even like warm and not all the jets worked. Considering the shower water was hot I didn’t understand this. Bed was very comfortable and so were the couches. Refrigerator was great to have as well as the microwave and toaster. They have all kitchen supplies in this suite if you wanted to cook for yourself. We just made bagels a couple of mornings.

"The hotel exterior has weathered since we stayed in 2018. However, the suites did not change and they were in excellent shape. Food and drinks were excellent.
Finally, Smathers Beach was disappointing due to the sea weed accumulation. Key West should help in removing so access to water can be obtained by guests."

"This was a very nice place. We stayed in the library. The only problem was the light outside our room that must have been motion activated. It rained a lot while we were there so possibly the train activated it. Also, you are in the flight pattern for keys landing at the airport. Very clean, very comfortable though and enjoyed it."

"Not only was this my first time in Key West, it was also my first time going on a trip by myself. This hotel was the perfect spot for me. Room 107 was right in front of the pool which was nicely lite at night with pleasant colors. The guests were very respectful of the other guests because there was no noise complaints. "Loved our stay here. Upon arrival we were offered complimentary drinks and check in was a breeze. Our room was so coxy and clean. The grounds were like being in a tropical Paradise!
Everything was perfect. Right on Duvall Street and we walked everywhere. Plenty of restsurants and bars. We tried several restaurants, but our fav was Havana Island Cafe (I think). Had to enter through an alley. It was a food truck with a bar and the BEST food. Highly recommend!!
