"Great place to stay in the San Diego area, located in a high-end neighborhood inside a golf club. The rooms, which appear to have been recently and tastefully renovated, are spacious, clean, and quiet. The welcome amenities (gummy bears and nuts) are a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area. The only minor downside for us was the lack of a full sit-down breakfast service, although there are plenty of places for breakfast just a short drive away."

"We loved waking up and being able to walk to the beach. And it was a cute little coffee stand for the morning and ice cream for the night across the street! Quick drive up or down the coast and very, very quiet and relaxing. The one thing I think could improve is having a personal coffee machine in each room for us early risers...Because nothing is open before 7 am but 7-eleven coffee. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!"

"This had to be the most disgusting hotel/MOTEL in all of San Diego- They had workers remodeling the hallways and stair Waze in the middle of the night- breakfast was just awful warm, milk, stale donuts, and cereal. No hot food. If there was less than a star, I wouldn’t not even given a star. I would’ve given a negative star- don’t get overwhelmed with the pictures. The pool is the size of a big Jacuzzi four people, and it’s crowded- this place is just a dump!!! Do yourself a favor, book...

"You're only paying for the location. Dont expect anything else. I would not stay there again unless I had too. I would bring my own cups because their cups are super cheap. If something hot is in it, the cup will dissolve and you will have that in your hot drink. Access to the beach from the "short cut" is definitely a liability because its a steep dirt path and you can easily slip and fall. Forget about maintenance, the place is not considered presentable. "Nice property. Pool was heated which was a plus since it was kinda cloudy. There was some construction going on in the parking lot and it was a little tough to find a spot in the evening. Other than that, it was a great stay and would definitely come back"
