"We arrived on a late flight and needed a hotel for one nights rest. This hotel is clean and fairly convenient. The rooms, beds, and pillows are comfortable. My only complaint is that Tru properties don’t have amenities like cups (plastic or glass- none!), ice bucket, or a coffee pot in the rooms. We asked the front desk girl if there were ice machines on every floor and she said there were. We got to our room to find out there wasn’t an ice bucket or cups. She failed to mention that. My husband went back downstairs to get those items. Typically not a huge deal- but after a long day of traveling, it was the last thing we wanted to do. I’m not sure we will stay at Tru hotels in the future because of this one little thing."

"This is a nice hotel in the downtown area. There was a warning at the front desk about being in the downtown area it can get loud. It is right next to the train tracks as well. It was a little frustrating for checking in since their shuttle vans took up the drive through space right at the entrance. You have to park your car in the lot and then go check in."

"Older building so that is a factor but all the moulding and doors are just painted over. Doors don't even seal properly so the light and noise form the hall comes through. Furniture is scratched up. Not family friendly. Seemed more like a party hotel with the bar and loud music till 2am. TVs had issues and our bed frame broke randomly in the middle of the night while sleeping. They moved us to a different room at 3am and gave us free Starbucks. If night life and bar are your thing this would be the place to stay."

"Breakfast was great. After not having my room cleaned for 4 days I took a chance and booked another 3 days. The room was only cleaned two of the three days. Floors not mopped or swept despite gravel on floors from going to the badlands. I again had to borrow a broom and mop and do it myself each day. Stayed there 7 days and carpets were never vacuumed even though we technically booked out and back in. Room got very smelly due to lack of cleaning. I complained after staying 4 night and was assured everything would be done daily. Pretty sure part of my hotel fee is to have a maid actually go into my room and clean. No discounts were offered for this not being done. Too bad this is a nice hotel. Breakfast is good. I liked everything except the lack of cleaning. Also I had to get towels from the front desk they weren’t picked up from the floor when dirty for 5 of the 7 days I stayed there. "
