"We rented a cabin as we were traveling with our dogs. It was perfect. The room was large and we could set up our pens for the dogs when we were visiting an attraction. The small kitchen area really helped facilitate their feeding and our snacks. The lodge was so conveniently located to so many places: Rushmore, Custer Park, the caves, Keystone, Hill City etc. We never had to drive far to see anything. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was so convenient and so good...

"We checked in to this hotel ad was immediately turned off by the people staying there. We saw a lady in the front of the hotel that was very shady looking. We checked into the hotel room and saw stains on the bed, on the wall and the bathroom was unclean. My wife and two children were scared to stay here so we immediately checked out within 10 minutes and moved into another hotel. We asked the front desk clerk to assist with a refund of the stay but it does not look like he did. I would not...

"We stay here for a quick stop on our road trip back from Montana. The property was very well maintained and clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were large and fully equipped. The only thing that could be better was the quality of the mattresses. But overall it was a good experience."

"It is close to the interstate but the people staying there were setting off fireworks late into the night, the breakfast didn’t have as many offerings as we are used to. The price was more than expected - value was not worth the $. Parking was minimal due to 2 store fronts attached to the property. Probably won’t stay there again."

One recommendation would be that extra help is added on busy days to clean tables. I had to add a room at her end of stay and o always found the front desk employees to be polite and helpful. "We stayed there three nights in two different rooms. One room was cleaned once and the other room was not cleaned at all. On two of the nights the room keys didn't work. We asked for help regarding room cleaning and were told by a frustrated employee (a short, blond lady) who had just come on duty that she didn't have time to deal with the problem. As with the other associates, she wasn't wearing a name badge. The continental breakfast barely ranked as meager at best and we didn't see...
