"Stayed for 7 nights, couldn’t fault anything at the resort, friendly happy staff, clean rooms, and everyone so helpful, we had the best time, would recommend to anyone"
"Very good bar and pool area. Good for relaxing with food and drink whilst overlooking the ocean.
Room was clean and simple.
Breakfast was again simple but enough."
"If your idea of a great holiday is being at the bar all day and listening to beats at the beach this place would be good for you, but if you are looking for relaxing or an adults only environment go somewhere else. This is best described as a well attended family bar with some accommodation attached. Expect music to play from late morning to 9 pm which can be heard through the rooms even with the doors closed. Its particularly loud when they have a band (several nights a week) - don't expect to be able to watch TV or read a book in your room on those nights loud. A lot of people and families come in for the bar all day everyday which is in the middle of everything. This is a good location to do activities on the west coast and is on the bus route. Snorkeling off the beach is reasonable. There are several food options a short walk away and a grocery store about 10 min walk south on the main road. The food on site is very nice but not always filling, you will need to order early (e.g by 5:30pm as there are often large crowds and long lines to order food at the bar). The rooms have full kitchen through."
"The room was lovely, the beds were so soft and comfortable. There is a full kitchen and washing machine and dryer/drying rack which were very helpful. The pool area is nice an relaxing.
The site is about 15-20 min from the bus if you don't have a car, the walk is comfortable if you like walking (bring a small torch if walking at night on the road) If you have a car, there is plenty of parking and its a great location to explore the island and local town."
"We thoroughly enjoyed this resort. The rooms were clean and had had a cool Polynesian vibe to it. The breakfast every morning was so good. Best of all were the staff. Each and every person was beyond friendly and kind. Big shout out to our server Jayesh. He was so awesome!"
"Exceptional friendly staff.
Menu became a little too much the same
Maybe a salad buffet option or sandwich's for lunch
Rooms were good but bathrooms need an update
Will definitely be going back"
"Positives and negatives:
+ Rooms actually are nicer than they look in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised
+ Restaurant is really good quality, both staff and food were great
+ Aircon worked very well and room didn't seem to humid
+ Love these guys because they are kind to animals.
- No late checkout. It's advertised at a $50 cost, but when we told "Donni" that we wanted to check out at 1pm she said that we had to leave at 10am because someone else was going to stay in the room. The place was not fully booked, and so if check in is at 3pm is 2 hours not enough to clear a room?
- Tuesdays is Renovation day. If you are staying on a Tuesday, bring your earplugs. They were working on the rooms or the roof and it was all day with power tools. We knew about the partying until 10 and 11pm, but we were not counting on losing the nap."
"The pros: staff were kind and friendly, and the rooms are nice and spacious.
The cons: the room we were in got barely any sun, so the pool was always too cold to use. The insect screens were broken so we were constantly battling mosquitos in our room. The listing states two restaurants when there is only one, it says they have bikes which they don’t, they don’t actually have a shuttle, they just arrange one for you but a few days notice minimum is apparently required. They advertise snorkelling gear, but one we picked up was filled with black mould, and the flippers were torn and unable to be used. And the breakfast buffet… easily the worst I’ve ever had.
To put it simply, the price does not match the quality you will receive. The price should be halved, then the experience you get would be reasonable"
