"Wonderful experience staying in Clontarf Castle! The room was very nice and clean. The shower was great and I loved that you could adjust all the settings without getting wet first. Breakfast was wonderful and I was shocked to see the honeycomb tray out! Lots of variety for picky and non-picky eaters. Close to public transport to get into the city. "

The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our visit. While the location wasn’t right in the main downtown area, the price made it well worth it. "This is my third stay at the hotel. I like it for its location and its reasonable price. The staff are friendly and efficient. They offer a continental breakfast too. As to location, it is within easy walking distance of the Phoenix Park, the Dublin Zoo, the Barracks Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. "Large room on 4th floor, plenty elevators, very good location (close to the Four Courts historical/law center building, 20' walk to the start of the Temple Pub area and 25-30' Castle, cathedrals), near train station, river and distilleries, as well as 5-10' from the entrance to the main Dublin park (Phoenix) though that is opposite from downtown. Easy car access both coming from Cork (south) or airport (north, about 25' by car), spacious car garage for a reasonable price as big cities go;...

"My only complaint would be the 25e charge for the hydrotherapy. I have stayed at many comparable properties that do not charge for hotel guests. It was lovely however and we enjoyed it very much. "
