"Staff is courteous and has a good command of English. The hotel itself has a great, homely atmosphere with the unique experience of having breakfast in an old wine Celler. The hotel is also located about 5-10 minutes walk from the train station which has easy service to Würzburg and Nürnberg. In Nurnberg the Main train station is right across the street from the old town. Only down side is that if you drive yourself you will have to park on the street. "A great choice for staying in Hamburg but outside of the historic city center. You can easily access the historic center via the bus stop located directly across the street which runs are fairly reliable intervals and, in turn, grants you walking access to a wide variety of amazing German restaurants, pubs, and shops."

"I parked in the back and had trouble finding the entrance (my error), walking through the kitchen. The staff was more than accommodating and very friendly. The room was well appointed. Our room was next to the church tower, and the bells rang intermittently through the night. The hotel supplies ear plugs. Breakfast was wonderful!"

"Cet endroit hors des entiers battus est vraiment très pittoresque. C'est un très très bon arrêt routier! Le véritable point fort est le petit déjeuner exceptionnel, avec des produits bios locaux, tout simplement le meilleur petit déjeuner typique qu'il m'ait été donné de manger en allemagne!! Merci!!! Je n'ai hélas pas testé le repas du soir car j'étais trop fatigué avec la route, mais je suppose qu'il est tout aussi bon."
