"Great location, a few minutes walk from town. Beautifully decorated and helpful staff who made sure we had breakfast items in our room bc we had to leave at 5:55am. The sit down breakfast was huge with a starter of meats, cheeses, croissants that my wife said were like being in France, ‘to die for’ then eggs Benedict or any style you like. Comfortable beds with heated blanket."

"Very nice all round hotel in a great location, it also has the benefit of an Hussars restaurant attached. This is a great hotel at a sensible price considering it’s position in Franschhoek. Have stayed here many times and will continue to use this hotel on my visits. "

"Lovely views and location. Super nice staff. But the pool area was awful. The pool had brown water in it and construction workers lying around. No sun beds etc. Also the rooms were not sound proof so I slept bad since the ppl on the room next doors was coming home late and was talking and making a lot of noises and also got up very early and started to make noises. "

" nice room but balcony door didn't shut very well and quite noisey ( we didn't mention this and staff were apologetic ) We also paid for a mountain view which was oversold ( room 2) but the staff were very good and room was comfortable "

"Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Letitia welcomed us and the whole team are fantastic. Room was huge and air con great! Pool perfect to cool down and a short walk to the town. Breakfast is plentiful and so quiet and relaxing on the veranda. Look forward to returning. Love love loved it! "
