"What can I say, this is an amazing boutique hotel in the old town. Walking distance to everything, restaurants, entertainment, beaches. The hotel pool is amazing, breakfast is deliciously French."

"Property is 1.5 km from town center - you can walk if you chose to (however there are small sections without walkway). But they have a shuttle that takes you to downtown. Hotel was very clean, the welcome was amazing, the room was very comfortable and breakfast included was adequate. They had free water, free snacks and the best part is the shuttle drivers - they are all young people who work there during the season traveling from different parts of Europe - amazing to have everyone speak fairly good English. The conceirge also booked all the beach clubs - it is impossible to get bookings at beach clubs unless you go through your hotel. They communicate with you on WhatsApp. Only reason I gave 4 stars was the cost was a bit high for the comforts and time of the year - we stayed in the last week before the hotel hibernates (shuts down) for 6 months - so it is not in season and the cost was still very high - I cannot imagine how expensive it will be during on-season."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Douce. The property is beautiful, well appointed, and perfectly located. Our family loved the spacious room with bunk beds, which was a huge hit with the kids. The partner beach club was a fantastic bonus, and the on-site restaurant delivered one of our favorite meals of our entire trip to France. The combination of great service, accommodations, excellent food, and stunning views made this a memorable stay. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to families."

"The staff was very friendly and super helpful Absolutely loved my evening buffet, the food was so good and tasty (didnt try the breakfast as a bit pricey at €15) The room was very nice although it did have a smell of dog and some parts in the bathroom need some TLC but the bed was comfortable and pretty quiet The best for the end…. The lake, the beach, the sunbeds, paddles, kayak as well as the indoor pool and the sauna (And of course a beach across the road) I defo will come back"
