"The staff were kind and helpful, but the hotel is in serious need of updates. The ceiling in our room still had visible brown stains from previous water damage, and the bathroom would benefit from having a fan to reduce condensation. The property is also in desperate need of an elevator, as carrying large luggage up and down the stairs was extremely difficult.
The room could also be better equipped with amenities such as a microwave and kettle, since not everyone drinks coffee. When I requested hot water, it had an unpleasant aftertaste.
Another disappointment was the lack of access to water activities, while the neighboring Deerhurst Resort had all of theirs available. Overall, considering there are much better options nearby, I don’t think I would choose to stay at this hotel again."

"We had the end unit Sunshine 8 for 4 nights. it was similar to a motel room but the view of Lake was gorgeous. Just the two of us and our small dog it was perfect size. Towels supplied, but I brought one for our dogs feet. Coffee pot so bring some coffee, fridge and microwave there.
Very nice dog park also.
