"I decided to give this place a chance because they were in the middle of a renovation. There were not many new reviews but the most of the recent ones were over all okay. I've been spending summers in Jersey since I was 16 and have resonable expectations of the hotel in the area I am not expecting the Ritz.However this was one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in..The first room we were given was covered in black mold. The smell hit you the minute you walk in the door.You could visible see...

"The staff are the beating heart of a wonderful vacation resort right on the beach. The hotel itself is lovely, the pools clean and refreshing, the beach easily accessible and the food at the Tradewinds was delicious. I can not sing the praises of the staff enough. Everyone was helpful, knowledgable and friendly."

"Drove 2 hours to get there, checked in, dropped off our items on the bed, and went to a concert. When we came back there were crumbs on the bed, and my bag of chips was empty.. I thought they spilled out somewhere? I was so confused.. But no, there were at least 3 mouse turds on the bed where I left the bag of snacks. We left around 3 in the morning."
