"We did not feel safe as soon as we pulled into the designated parking lot and observed two broken down vehicles that had been there for quite a while based on the thickness of dirt evenly distributed all over them. Also the weeds growing through the pavement indicated a lack of maintenance. Before we could get out of our car an individual who appeared disheveled appeared out of the bushes and walked across the property. Upon entering the room, which was for two full beds, we noticed dead bugs on the window sill & floor and a distinct unidentified odor. The room size may have been adequate for one full bed but definitly not two. We were stopped in our tracks two steps into the room ! We immediatly left the single door key on the dresser and left. We did not stay there, we went to another facility in the area and was more than satisfied. I do not know what was going on with this property, but it definitly needs some training in the hospitality industry. Anyone considering this property....DON'T....RUN AWAY, you do not even get what you pay for.....IMHO"

"We were given handicap room (not requested) that seemed to be missing a lot of furniture. Bathroom had no counter at all. Some plugs were not working. Security bar in slider was broken. Room was very dated. A/C was loud. "

"Always a joy to stay at the Americana Modern. This was our 4th stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and tasteful. Area around hotel has a lot to do."
