"It would be nice to have a desk/chair in the room to work on a laptop. It was strange to see Aboriginal children running around the pool. Clearly, they were not allowed in the pool. Hopefully they have their own pool to utilize. LOVED the painting class. Good talk at the art gallery about Aboriginal art. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Nice big shower. Dinner buffet at Sails was not worth the money. We started at 7:30 PM and lots of empty serving dishes (lamb chops, only 2 slices of ham carved, 3 pieces of kangaroo, etc). No one manning the pasta station or the carving station. Definitely NOT worth the money. Lunch at Geko Cafe was fine and host very friendly. I found the staff on the whole (front desk, Noah bartender) to be less friendly than the Aussies we encountered. aboriginals looked miserable and never mad eye contact, spoke to us or engaged us in any way. All in all, glad we visited, but it is one and done. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was very family-friendly with plenty to do, and both kids and adults had a great time. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. The place had everything we needed, including cutlery, plates, cups, and bowls. The outdoor BBQ area was a highlight—very clean with plenty of seating, making it perfect for relaxed family dinners outside. There were also activities available, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and we’d happily stay again."

"Parking was a bit tricky, and the directions at check-in weren’t the best, but it was still easy enough to find. The room itself was clean, though the bathrooms are shared and located outside. Expect some bugs like grasshoppers on the walls and beetles in the sink—it’s pretty remote. Overall, for the price, it was worth staying in the area esp it being so close to Kings Canyon. "
