There’s no electricity in our bedroom. We can’t turn on both aircon in the living room at the same time because everything will be out of power. Can’t use the tv coz there’s no internet. It was a terrible experience.

Property is old and could use a little maintenance. The stairs to the second floor where not finished neither was the second level patio. When we arrived there was no parking. They told me too bad should have gotten here earlier. So when you book make sure you make it clear you need a parking spot. We got lucky and someone was leaving. We parked and did not move till we checked out. For the room, the queen bed is old and sunken in the middle. Make it hard to sleep two on it. The rooms are outdated but where clean at least. This served its purpose and it was nice were where across the street from the lake. Would go back, but also might spend an extra could bucks on one of the better maintained hotels on other sides.

They gave our reservation away because we showed up an hour after check in and we put pay for reservation at the property but the card I used had to be canceled and replaced so they tried the card after we were 1 hour after check in and then it didn’t work so they gave our reservation away!

Checked in, went to our room, was disgusting!! All we could smell in there was smoke, marijuana, and pure filth!! The entire complex and every room you walked by just had awful smells coming from them. My daughter and myself have allergies and we didn’t last 15 minutes in that room. Due to medical reasons we actually couldn’t stay there. They didn’t care. When I asked if they were non-smoking we were told they were non-smoking rooms which was obviously a complete lie! People live in these units and god knows what’s happening in the rooms next to yours. Saw drug deals happening! Disgusting. Checked out right away and asked for a refund and received only $150 back of our over $480 total for the that didn’t happen. DO NOT EVER stay here!! The worst place I have ever been in my entire life! My husband called to talk to a manager a couple days after and voice our frustration and hopefully get a full refund and got hung up on. So much more to this story. But bottom line, DO NOT EVER book a room at this place!!

Great location. Rooms were clean. Check in was smooth. Property needs attention to appearance and better provision of basic amenities (ie: dishcloth & towel in kitchenette unit). If location and price are most important, this hotel is relatively good value.

i checked in at 10:15 ish and opened the fridge and there was a bag of blueberries in the door and a glass with a drink and ice still in the fridge so they didn’t even attempt to clean the fridge out , with checkout being at 11 and check in at 3 the latest someone should’ve been in that room was more than 7 hours before i checked in, the glass still having a decent amount of ice in it makes me think that wasn’t the case. our room had 2 beds, there was only 2 of us sharing a bed, looking at the beds as soon as we got in there was hair and crumbs on top of the blanket, lifted the blanket on the one bed and there was more hair and crumbs and a few pieces of grass, gross, i didn’t even want to lift the other blanket cause i didn’t want to see how gross it was going to be, we slept on top the blanket because we were so grossed out by the beds, also couldn’t find a way to make the room warmer so we were freezing aswell, shower was disgusting, you couldn’t pay me to get in that shower, overall looked like the room wasn’t cleaned and for the price it was absolutely not worth it, only upside is how close it is to the beach, will never stay here again and will discourage everyone i know from going there

Not bad , price ok for older motel with lake view

We had an enjoyable stay .owners are hard working at keep this place decent .its very clean and you have sylvan lake ,right across the street .There is also a good size lawn with a very large firepit .(owners were generous and offered us free wood).I have stayed at this motel several times over the years since the 80's.This is an older motel but well kept and the owners work hard at maintaining it.lovely stay as usual, enjoyed drinks around the firepit, views of the lake and very clean comfortable beds for under $150.

Great location and rooms were clean. But our rooms were filled with secondhand smoke from all the guests smoking outside the room. Air conditioner, toilet and wifi all didn’t function properly. Very loud guests and no quiet time policy after hours. Nobody at the front desk to talk to.
