"Very well designed, but also rather small rooms. We didn't have a parking spot, but there was no difficulty parking on the street. Easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. All in all, we had a very nice stay."

"We loved our stay at the best western Novato. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Kim helped us out by giving us an early check in and making sure all our guests were taken care of. We also loved the hot tub and gathering around the fire pit in the evening. I would definitely come back.. and the beds were really comfortable."

"Small complex. Nice updates. Cleaning could use more detail. Beds are just okay. Front desk nice and the fancy coffee is nice (if you drink). Location is fair. Quiet area. This is a place for strictly sleeping only. Adding a continental breakfast would boost its appeal. Close to shopping and food."

"This was a perfect little boutique hotel right in downtown mill valley. The room was great with comfy bed and pillows. They had amazing comolimentart wine and cheese in the evening and impressive breakfast in the morning. Im only sad I wasn't staying for more then one night. Would 100% stay again when in the area."

"1) Room was clean,however, took us some time to figure out how to turn lights off behind the bed. 2) i enjoy having my coffee on provided patio of room. Tables floor area were filthy mud in the corners webs all around fence. I wound up cleaning it w towels. 3) not everyone likes omelet's. Was hoping for regular eggs. Toaster broken on 1 side to heat up a bagel. 4) sunny days would of been nice to have more umbrellas by the pool area. 5) when one thinks of a spa or hot Tub you think hot....

"Love the history of Casa Madrona & it could be a 5 star experience however for the cost, I would expect more in the way of a high performing staff and the spa experience left a lot to be desired. My masseuse was male & I requested a female & it seems they were hired on the fly and didn't know their way around the property. He left the room before the massage began to allow me to prepare & locked himself out of the room! He had to go find someone to unlock the room cutting time off my session!...

"I love Sausalito, and this property was very nice but couple of things, when you look at the property online, it states that you get free continental breakfast, this is no longer available and they should change that on their website as to not mislead people. I was fine with that eventually and let it slide. paying $30 a day for parking is out of line, when you’re a guest, you should not have to pay for parking they should make accommodations free of charge. "Clean room . Our room faced the bay and Hotel Sausalito is very central located in pier near ferry station. The property is very well maintained and decorated. Bathroom are modern and well lighted. Hot water, no AC but not needed just leave windows opens for breeze to flow. Hotel is next to an amazing restaurant as well located in an area with many options for dinning within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"We were charged extra for hotel services - required. Our room was not cleaned, the comforter was ripped, and hairs from prior occupancy were in the drawers. We went to the pool and there was a dog in the pool when the rules stated no dogs allowed. People smoked by the fire pit. We did not see a sign for smoking. Maintenance in general was needed. We are so disappointed and it was not cheap. We stayed there for a bit of our honeymoon 28 years ago so the disappointment was even greater."
