"The best thing about Hotel Eleo was its staff. The bed wasn't so bad either. But the worst thing was that horrible Nespresso coffee maker. When first booking the room and seeing the amenities, I ordered my favorite coffee in a Nespresso pod to use. Terrible. Foamy and bitter - no matter which brand of coffee used. But the nearness to Shands was such a plus and the availability of the shuttle service to the hospital 24/7 certainly outweighed the bad coffee. And with the Opus coffee kiosk in the hospital lobby, I was ok. I had breakfast one day and then lunch another day at the restaurant there. Both were great. And William, the bartender/server made me feel as if we were old friends. If a visit to Shands was ever in the future, I would stay at the Eleo again...but I'd pack my little Keurig! "

"1st, the attractive lobby shown in pic.s has been torn down. Office staff were working oout of the 1st rooming unit. 2nd, the key machine was not working so the office worker would have to personally take guest to their room and let them in. 3rd, staff is limited, affecting front desk service and cleaning. 4th, this place is frequented by local homeless people and is not located in a good area of town. 5th, Our reservation was made a month in advance, secured with a credit card. At 5:30am of the day we were to arrive, staff attemped to charge my creditcard. Because I live in a different state, my cards fraud alert blocked the charge. Staff then canceled my booking and rented my room to someone else. When I got into town at 9pm, I found I no longer had a reservation at this establishment. But I happily looked elsewhere. I would not stay here if someone payed me."

"Room was okay.. although tv was going bad. Bottom of the screen turning colors. The air conditioner made a horrible horrible sound and hard to sleep. The pillows are very hard. But again we just there to sleep really. We ended up leaving a day sooner even though we had paid bc of issues. "

"Would have rated hotel a 5 except no sleep on Fri and Sat night until after 2am due to noise of bar!!!!! Great location to restaurants walking less then 1 block: Harry's, Dragonfly, OAK, BBQ chicken, Pizza place, Starbucks, ice cream shop. No parking but we knew this so ubbered everywhere. Nice pool, great staff, friendly and quick to respond to needs. So my advice is dont stay here on the weekend unless you stay up partying until 2am and ubber, dont rent a car. Continental breakfast was the best ive ever had."

"This was way too much money for the quality of hotel. The breakfast buffet was advertised as very good. They were out of hot food each morning. We were there within 20 minutes. The first morning of our stay in over 30 minutes of waiting. The eggs and sausage were not restocked. The second morning it was a little quicker but the food quality was not good! We paid around $200 per night, and the night after we left the hotel went down to the '80s. That would have been an appropriate amount"
