"We had a suite with jacuzzi bath which was a great addition to the bathroom. Parts of the suite looked a bit run-down, for example the mirror with lots of marks/dents/rust on, but this didn’t hugely affect our overall impression. One of the staff members we interacted with was lovely, helpful an enthusiastic. This is a definitely a nice place to stay in Rotarua and convenient for local attractions if you have a car "

"Lovely place, impeccably clean, it had everything you could need, the parking was easy, everything was close by, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hot tub was great! Would definitely recommend. "

"Our unit 23 was showing its age and a number of things needed repairs or replacement i.e. faucet needed to be repaired and wardrobe door handle come off when trying to open. The manager was very helpful and offered another unit, which we declined due to not wanting to pack / unpacked"

"Friendly staff, loved the room but some things needed some attention. Hot tub was a HUGE bonus. Already planning our next couples trip and leaving the kids behind to have that Hot tub to ourselves. Close to the RSA with great food and easy to find. "

"Motel has paper thin walls and is located next door to an indian temple or something, lots of inconsiderate indians staying in the motel making loads of noise, banging doors etc until late making sleeping near impossible"

"Room was relatively clean, however the bathroom is very tired and needs an update.. the water pressure in the shower was very poor.. barely a dribble. Breakfast was ok.. good value for kids for a continental breakfast. Good location as a base in Rotorua. "

"Beds were really comfortable. Close to dining options and activities. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Simba was an absolute star! Having the private spa attached to the room was awesome. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and would stay again. "

"Room was clean and staff was courteous. Walls are thin and guests next door were loud and arguing late into the night. Fixtures need updating and a bathroom fan could be helpful. Parking was extremely tight, especially if arriving last or late. FYI, motel resides in area of town that does smell of strongly of sulfur."

"Close to Whakarewarewa forest which is why I booked it. Cheap but dated. Property was as I had expected for the price so can't complain about that. Only main issue was that there is a lot of vibrations/noise that goes throughout the room literally every 30 secs 24hrs. Thought they were earthquakes at first but later found out that it was a pipe that ran under property and everytime a truck drove over it the place shook. "
