"The views were awesome, the staff were very friendly but breakfast wasn’t different each day. The waffle was extremely hard, but the egg and sausage breakfast was decent. Breakfast also didn’t come with a drink of any kind, but overall I wouldn’t mind going back. Now that I know what to expect and what not to expect. Pretty decent hotel in the cut off the beaten path. I like the privacy. "

"The property was well maintained and clean. The rooms are dated, but clean. The beach and pool area with the waterfall are attractive . The restaurant and bar area are in close proximity to the rooms. There are plenty of taxi options for touring the island Rachel at the front desk deserves a special mention as does "The Cat" man. They made our stay extra special."

"We loved our penthouse , even it had some flaws!!..The food at the Restaurant, the pool ,gym and other areas were really nice ,but like with all buildings ( historical wise) you can see in some areas the 'teeth of time' have left their signs !!..We were challenged with all those climbing stairs, several times a day, where we had to ger to the pool,restaurant or gym 🏋️‍♂️ but we made it...and if you like to walk around a bit , to the Pablo Market , you need to be good to foot!!..If tou can get a car, its fine, but keep in mind , they're having left side driving !! Restaurants and Taxi service are not the cheapest, but its more convenient if you like to explre downtown or other areas !..Parking places are a challenge to find, therefore it was taxi for us !!!..The relaxing atmosphere is just great, and you need to learn to be patient 🙏 Otherwise it was super relaxing and beautiful!!! "

"The hotel is nothing like the photographs posted by the hotel. It was severely damaged in hurricane Irma and has not been remodeled adequately. Broken tiles, no furniture in the bar lounge area except plastic chairs. There is no restaurant only a bar that serves chips. But the bartender was really great! I would never stay at this hotel and would never recommended to anybody until they bring it back up to a better level of cleanliness maintenance and service."

"The hotel was itimate and eclectic, with a great little pool for cooling off with water views, the small but great restaurant and breakfast area also had beautiful water views, giving a lovely charm to the entire stay. Room was clean and well airconditioned"

"The front desk staff on check in tried to charge us when we had bought a package through Expedia. She was not kind our compassionate nor did she foster any connection to us at check in. We alerted the front desk about fecal material in the pool and on the pool deck. The poop on the pool deck could be clearly seen from our hotel window and in spite of alerting the front desk staff both by phone and direct conversation at front desk it remained on pool deck until our check out. Our room did not get cleaned the one day we asked for it to be in spite of the day bring in line with the eod policy. When we asked the next day - we got fresh towels and made beds but the conditioner and hand soap dispensers were not refilled and remained empty. The hotel location is good. However rest staffing with individuals that like people would be a good start. Additionally work ethic for cleaning and hygiene would be good"
