"A charming character Victorian hotel with excellent restaurant, and adjacent accommodation. We only stopped one night but will be back. We were made welcome from start to finish by all staff. The bar is full of history, and food in the heritage restaurant was superb and a credit to the chef."

The thing I didn’t like was that the door to the deck didn’t seal at all, so when the wind blew at night it rattled the blinds and kept me awake. "The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week.
