The former nuns’ rooms have been transformed into comfortable, clean and pleasant guest rooms, making the experience quite special. The main downside is the lack of soundproofing. Conversations in the corridors can be heard very clearly from inside the rooms, which can become frustrating when other guests are not particularly...

"I stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned every day. Great quiet spot to base out of if you are traveling around Alentejo. The town is very cute and there are lots of beaches in each town around the alqueva. It is worth driving around for a day to see all the small villages. There are some great food options around town as well. I did not eat breakfast here but they do have a Continental breakfast area."
