"I gave 4 stars because everyone was really nice, but the property itself is a little deceiving. (Not deceptive, I am not trying to indicate malice.) "The staff at Hotel Ami were really lovely and I was impressed at how well kept the communal kitchens were. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit tired in terms of decor and fittings, but it’s excellent value overall and an easy 5 minute stroll into town. "

"The Apartment was spacious and the Kitchen was well stocked. We did not have a clothes washer. Apparently some apartments do and some don't. We needed one. They arranged for us to use the washer at their other property. The breakfast was okay."

"Friendly, helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Lovely room overlooking harbour, armchairs in room to sit and look out. Bed very comfortable, room was warm, not too hot. Food - excellent, lots of choice at breakfast, evening meal very good. Was advised at check in that rooms not cleaned everyday, this suited us as didn’t need/want this, if we needed anything we asked and this was addressed straight away. Highly recommend this hotel, would definitely book again."
