Silks Place Taroko

"We had an amazing stay at Silks Taroko. Staff was helpful and friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a good visit. They helped organize two vans to give us a tour of the area with one english speaking tour guide, Victor. It was an amazing, thoughtfully paced tour that the guide provided us with. Even though the area is still recovering from the earthquakes a few years back and many of the trails are still under construction, it was still well worth the visit."

"Had a very enjoyable stay for 2 nights in September. Room was very large including a living space. I will say the small sofa in the lounge needs replacing, its very uncomfortable! Our room was also very dark due to the orientation. The rain shower was one of the best I have ever experienced! The staff were friendly although it is pretty bare bones when it comes to that and service. Essentially halfway between a full serving hotel and self check in place. There was a cute happy hour with biscuits and melon tea from 3.30pm. Location is nice near 3rd Street market and Miyahara."

"This villa is absolutely excellent! Both the host and hostess were incredibly warm and hospitable, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was healthy, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, and the villa was kept in impeccable condition. The highlight of our trip was the early-morning bike ride with our wonderful host, Wayne Wang. He took us to some of the most beautiful and scenic spots around Sun Moon Lake and even captured incredible photos for us along the way. The scenery was truly breathtaking! Many thanks to Wayne and his wife for their outstanding hospitality. We had a truly fantastic stay and will cherish the wonderful memories we made here. Highly recommended!"
