I contacted the hotel separately requested a ground room floor. My husband and I are in 70s and we have a dog. They did not honor this and they did not try to help. They said they they’re sold out nothing we can do there was no one in the hotel when we checked in they could easily switch people around.

1. It was impossibe to navigate the TV channels. There was no channel guide in the room. I was told I could get one at the front desk. Really? I have to go to the front desk? I have an idea, put channel guides in the rooms. 2. The smoke alarm awakened us at 2 AM for no apparent reason. 3. Squeaky bathroom door. 4. Counters beat up.

Booked here due to a power outage from a large storm. Staff was friendly and accommodating, room was clean, pets allowed (though the $75 pet fee was way too much, but we were in a bind), and had a very nice breakfast included.

Everything being equal among many hotels, the Hampton Inn & Suites Reno had offerings that are a cut above their competition. The breakfast menu is great, even including fresh pears, which I've never seen anywhere else. I especially appreciated that a healthy frozen meal is available at the Hampton Inn & Suites Reno.
