"My family has visited The Nugget (formerly John Ascuagas Nugget) for over 40 years. In recent years it has changed ownership. The Nugget hotel/casino has a history of excellence in Sparks/Reno and I can honestly say they have maintained the reputation. The valet was excellnt, attentive and helpful. The check-in/desk staff was kind and professional, they have a Starbucks in the lobby that is open early and closes late and the restaurant (Rosies Cafe) is 24hrs. The casino and lobby are CLEAN....

"Staff were amazing and helpful, comfortable rooms, good food in the cafe, nice interior, clean. I wish there was a better area for my dog to use the restroom other than rock or gravel. Also the outside looks a little old and outdated but the inside is super nice. "

"Pool and hot tub are great. Staff is helpful. Area is very good. Suites are nice and large. Only thing that could be improved is speed/process of check-in and parking. "

"The room was small and could use a small dresser for a little more storage, but very it was comfortable. I loved how cute it was! The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. The noise was there, but we sleep with a sound machine so it was not an issue for us at all. Would stay again!"
