"Fantastic hotel with great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very tasty (and lovely to eat on the terrace overlooking the sea). Beautiful big room with a balcony right above the sea. A lovely calm atmosphere about the whole place. It was great to be able to go downstairs for a swim with islands to sit on just at the back of the hotel. "We really enjoyed this property. The buildings are ancient, but completely renovated and clean. Bathrooms are new, beds are comfortable with good linens. Breakfasts are excellent with many choices. "

Place is part of/next to archaeological site & walking distance to theater. Took taxi (called by staff) to Ortigia (4 adults less than 20 Euros). Worth the visit! "

"Had a warm welcome at arrival, with lots of useful information from passionate hosts. The rooms were large, clean and well equipped with big bathrooms and great inviting showers. Rooms had TVs with Amazon sticks so could log into streaming services in the evening, which was a nice touch, when it became too chilly to be out! Ortiga was beautiful, great food, lots to see and do. "

"The beautifully decorated B &B felt curated. Decorated with love and care. Bravo. Our fourth floor room was wonderful- but a little too challenging for carrying bags up the stairs! Narrow and steep. There was lemonade to be made from lemons - there was a beautiful, large terrace exclusively for us. Manuela was exceptionally helpful. She sat down and mapped all the charms of Ortigia. Her weekend replacement was lovely. The B & B offers a wonderful breakfast for 10 euros. Enough for 2. "

"The location is great! Hotels stuff is helpful. The room is big, clean and has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. However the air conditioner is VERY loud. The bathroom smelled like urine and the shower head didn’t work well. It seems like the holes in the shower head were all clogged. "

"The property is very convenient for visits at the Megapolis archeological park (5/10 mins walk) and the island of Ortigia (30 mins). The host has been superfriendly and provided lots of useful recommendations for must see and restaurants in Syracuse."
