"Exactly what I expected"

"The convenience factor is what matters here; 3 min walk to airport; free parking if you want to check in then return car later and head out for the evening to dinner or blue lagoon; room was nice enough with a view of the runway (ask for an even number room). Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable (lumpy, ?old) and no hooks or towel racks at all in the bathroom except for one right beside the toilet (yuck) despite there being lots of free wall space for same! This seems pretty basic."

"This was a very basic bare bones accommodation. The cabin was fairly small but the furnishings, floors, fixtures were all old, musty and smelly. Bathroom in particular was smelling quite badly 😢 On the positive side, the location of the cabin was great and quite close to Keflavik airport. The checkin process worked flawlessly and the lock box instructions were crystal clear. The kitchen was functional and equipments including TV, microwave, dishwasher etc were all working.
