"We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Blue Lagoon. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Did not realize that the town is an abandoned ghost town with most of the town fenced off and minimal food choices open during our stay. Bed was an old spring mattress that was uncomfortable."

"Unsere letzte Nacht haben wir direkt am Flughafen im Aurora Hotel verbracht, weil unser Flug sehr zeitig ging wir wir am späten Nachmittag das Auto abgeben mussten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wies uns auch auf das Frühstücksbuffet ab 4 Uhr hin. Da passte perfekt für unseren Flug und war sehr ausgiebig und lecker. Auch das Abendessen im Aurora Restaurant war preislich völlig in Ordnung und lecker. Also Highlight waren sogar direkt neben dem Hotel die Nordlichter gut zu sehen. "
