Vi boede der 1 nat. Rigtig godt til formålet - god beliggenhed, rent og pænt. Dog noget støj fra trafikeret vej.

Very great location, close to everything and plenty of room. The owner replied to our needs whenever we reached out. The apartment was quiet for the first half of our trip but when the people arrived above us, they were very loud. For the most part, very great place.

The Bed was really comfy and the flat was cosy and warm. It was very small and looked bigger in the pictures and one of the beds was a pull out sofa bed which was very hard. Not fair to expect people to sleep on it. The upstairs neighbours were horrendously loud every night. Impossible to get a good sleep whilst there. Overall it was alright.

Book this place asap

First time in Iceland, and this place was the most affordable and surprisingly spacious. We stayed on the 4th floor, which had big windows and a great view. The area was quiet and safe, with a 24/7 Express market and a few coffee shops nearby. It was only a 20-minute walk from the airport bus terminal and very close to the main street (restaurants, retail shops etc). The only issue we encountered was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly. Everything else was excellent, and I would definitely rent here again.

Terrible Experience: Dirty Apartment and More

I arrived at 5 p.m. and was shocked by the filthy state of the apartment. The bathtub was sticky and yellow, the floors were dirty, and under the couches, bed, and table was full of dust. The living room rug, coffee table, and dining table were all dusty. The kitchen counter, coffee machine, and toaster were sticky and dirty. The refrigerator still had trash inside, and an overflowing ashtray made the apartment smell strongly of cigarettes. Worst of all, the toilet brush was placed on a bathroom shelf, which was extremely unhygienic. The only clean items were the bedsheets. However, the wardrobe shelves were dusty and had human hair, and crumbs were stuck between the couch cushions. I contacted the property management immediately, and 40 minutes later, the owner arrived to inspect the situation. It took an additional hour for the apartment to be cleaned, leaving me unable to shower or unpack until 9 p.m. Even after cleaning, the apartment didn’t resemble the photos. It appeared smaller, the bathroom was cramped, and I had to shower standing up as there was no curtain or door, causing water to spill everywhere. The bed was uncomfortable, creaky, and sagging. The kitchen utensils were old, broken, or missing. The laundry room was shared, and twice my clothes were removed mid-wash and left wet on the floor. Finally, there was no elevator, and the narrow stairs made moving luggage very difficult. This entire experience was extremely disappointng

It was a great place to stay. But I forgot my jacket in closet, wrote them an email sunday evening when I got home, that I would pay for them to send it to me... But No answer at all... I´, very dissapointed.

Excellent location in the heart of Reykjavik! This place is within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and just a stone's throw away from downtown. However, our stay was marred by a lack of communication from the host, which made it difficult to get answers to our questions and resolve issues. Additionally, the narrow staircases leading up to the 2nd or 3rd floor apartment may pose a challenge for those with large bags - it was a bit of a hassle for us! Also free parking is only available by the church. Street parking is difficult to get . Overall, with a bit more attention to communication and perhaps some assistance with luggage, this place would be a fantastic choice for anyone looking to explore Reykjavik. As it stands, I'd give it 4/5 stars.

bad experience

negative review is for poor check-in and communication. at booking we were informed we'd receive check-in information 2 days before arrival, but we never got this info - despite several emails and messages to the host on hotels.com. it was only after an infuriating chat conversation with hotels.com and incurring intl data charges to call the host (several hours after check-in began) that we were able to access the flat. another caution: the key to the building is in a lockbox by the front door - but there is only one key that all guests use. at some point during our 1-night stay, another guest must have taken this key with them. one of us had to stay in the apartment to open the downstairs door for the other. the accommodation itself is fine. it's a full apartment and quite spacious, on a very convenient if fairly busy street. full kitchen (with a keurig type machine but no coffee pods). paid parking on nearby streets. based on the number of reviews this may be a newer listing and the host is working out some kinks - hopefully they address these important ones.

Nice place to stay

Decent place close to the water and city center walking area. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay and property was comfortable. Door to the building could be tricky at first but finally got the hang of it.

This is a great apartment in a safe, mostly quiet neighborhood. Just be advised that it is a four floor climb up small, steep stairs to get there.
