Location is fabulous & walkable to pretty much anywhere in the city - 3 minute walk to Bus Stop 4 located at Miðbakki (this is important if taking tours), 10 min walk to Bónus grocery store, close to pharmacy, shopping, convenience stores, museums, restaurants. Yet it's quiet! We stayed in unit 303. Staff were welcoming, helpful, informative, friendly, efficient. There is an elevator. Entrances are secure so only guests can enter/leave. Cleaning staff did a great job! The kitchen is a must, especially if trying to remain on budget. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. for meal prep. They have salt & pepper. We used our butter instead of buying oil. If you need extra towels, Nespresso coffee pods, or other cleaning products, ask at the front desk. Safe worked well. Beds were comfy & perfect amount of "soft". Lighting in the bathroom wasn't the greatest but there was a good reading lamp in the bedroom if needed. They also have a magnifying fold out mirror in the bathroom. The light and temperature controls were rather neat ... all electronically controlled by us. The only down-ish sides: - our balcony faced a black roof so no view to speak of but not a big deal because we didn't spend any time out there (cold!) and were out a lot of the time. - parking was a tad pricey (but it was in a locked secure garage) - I ended up splashing water everywhere as the shower only has a half door but great water pressure! Thank you for a great stay!

This was a last minute booking to keep us save from travelling in a storm back to our rented house and we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and clean the apartment was. The receptionist were fabulous and really made us feel comfortable, including finding travel toothbrushes for all of us since we had not planned to stay. The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the needed utensils and an expansive mini bar... in fact, we were sad that we did not book this place for longer as part of our trip. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend.

We were very impressed with our interaction with staff even before we arrived. They were able to book our round trip transporation from the airport and stored our luggage upon arrival early in the morning. Thoughtful touches, like luggage in the apartment waiting for you when you walk in. I was very impressed that you were personally escorted in and shown around the apartment. The location is perfect. It's only a ten to twenty minute walk to everything. We will certainly stay here on our next visit.

This was our second stay, our first stay was in May 2025. We stayed in the economy room and we loved it. This time we stayed in the deluxe room and it was more worn down. We had some issues with the sofa bed, that housekeeping resolved. We also had an issue with the wash machine and dryer. It left our clothes smelling bad unless we dried them to a crisp. They tried to remedy it by putting vinegar for a cycle, but I think it needed to be totally deep cleaned with bleach. Maybe something was wrong like mold was in the drum? There was some staining on the chairs and the fabric blinds that were pretty noticeable. There was also duck tape of the balcony joints, which was a little scary. The door that was supposed to close from the elevator lock wasn't working. The staff wasn't the most welcoming. One of the reasons that we wanted to stay there again was because the staff was great the first time. But it seemed like they were frazzled this time and continuously mentioned how booked they were for the holidays. On the plus side the view was great and the hotel is close to everything.

Great location. Easy walk to bus stop 4 and the harbour. Easy to get into and good size. We had a standard and asked them to make up the sofa bed. The apartment was cleaned every day and was warm. Tea and coffee provided. The only downside was how dark it was - we really struggled with the 150 light on/off buttons. The bedroom was also a bit noisy on the roadside.
