The rooms are clean, if functional, and the location is a nice, convenient one to Reykjavik, with ample parking on site. We arrived at 1am and left by 10:30am, but while that is not a lot of time, I was very impressed with the breakfast, which more than satisfied (the bread, fruit, and skyr were all top-notch). The staff was very pleasant, as well.

The staff at the front desk was excellent. She booked a taxi and the flybus for us and made sure to pack us breakfast packs for our very early department. The hotel was clean and easy to locate. Very helpful. Great stay.

The man in charge of Receptionist is really helpful and accommodating. He helped us on things we needed like ice bucket, using hot tub and sauna. We like how they prepare breakfast in advance to accommodate our early tour. Thanks Hotel Vellir, your breakfast is phenomenal..

Rooms were spacious and clean! The property is located right off the highway for easy commute and about 27 minutes from the airport and blue lagoon! Perfect place to stay. Breakfast was exceptional and everything we needed to end our trip in iceland.

Great hotel reasonably priced that includes a very tasty breakfast. The room was comfortable and big enough to not feel claustrophobic. The front desk was very nice and plenty of free parking. Only complaint was no way to charge phone by the bed. Had to plug in at table which means every time I wanted to check the time I had to get up and walk across room

Plenty of parking spaces outside of the hotel, this is a huge plus compared to the downtown hotels. The trade off is you have to drive 18 mins to downtown. I had the room not facing the highway, so I don’t have any street noise at night.
