There were a lot of people, probably the largest one I've ever encountered. Over 200 beds. I'm not quite a fan of it since I didn't find it homely. The bedsheets were itchy. The bedroom was too hot and humid, but later in the night, it became freezing cold. It's also in downtown, so driving may not be an issue, but if you are planning to drive the Ring Road in Iceland which is highly recommended, parking is very limited here

I booked an eight bed room, and for some reason I was put in a 14 bed room with no explanation. I should have been offered a discount for the room difference, but I was not. I was extremely disappointed.

* Some staff were unhelpful. No tour of the property and waiting around to get serviced at the bar. * Rooms and showers were clean. * Specifically booked mixed dorms and they weren’t mixed. * Property was always warm. * Nice food. Decent but more effort is needed. Most likely won’t stay there again on my next visit.

My stay here was pretty good. Facilities were clean and everything seemed organized. I was able to check in early, which I really appreciated after a long flight and bad jet lag. The bus will drop you off and pick right in front of the hostel, which is a perk compared to other places downtown. The staff at the desk when I checked out gave me helpful directions about the bus picking me up. Accessibility warning: There are four flights of stairs and no elevator. No one will help you carry your luggage up the stairs. The snow was not cleared on the front path leading to the door. The construction in the area is not close to done so expect it to continue for many months.

i had a very good stay, it had everything i needed for a short trip. i think the toilets could have been cleaned twice a day

Me gustó que tienen servicio de recepción 24/7 y son muy amables, las habitaciones limpias y no son 40 camas en un solo cuarto, hay habitaciones con varias camas pero no compartes con tantas personas, lo que es bueno:) y los baños también están muy limpios

This is our third time staying at The KEX. The staff is lovely and so helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable this time. It was really noisy in the neighborhood, starting pretty early with construction right next-door.

The hostel has a bar and restaurant which is a good place to make new friends. The hostel is about a 5min walk to downtown. The kitchen area is also a good place to meet people. The hostel has construction next door on either side at the moment. You can hear them working early in the morning and late in the evening. Otherwise there is not much else you can fault it on.

싱글룸 상태 아주 만족해요 . 3일이었고 하루는 싱글 /2일은 6베드 2층(3번)침대를 썼어요 침대가 좀 좁고 콘센트가 두개있지만 스탠드가 연결되어있어 하나만 사용 약간 추웠어요 키친상태 나쁘지않아요 곳곳에 소파가 있어 좋아요 다른 지역 이동시 저는 공항근처 호텔에 마지막날 머물렀는데 FLY버스 픽업말고 그냥 시내버스 환승하세요 시간은 유사하지만 금액은 6배 차이나요

ホテルの方はみなさん親切でした。初めてのアイスランドで、通信のこと、交通手段のこと、もろもろ相談に乗ってくださってありがたかったです。掃除中に爽やかに挨拶してくれるのもいい一日になりそうだなーと思えました。 キッチンで料理をしていると、他の宿泊客と高確率で会話が始まります。同じ釜の飯、ではなくても、同じテーブルとキッチンを使うとなんとなく話しやすい雰囲気になりました。 唯一、エレベータがないためスーツケースを4階まで乗り降りするのが大変でした。でもこれも頼めば手伝ってくれたかも…笑 おせわになりました！
