Top Rhondda Hotel Reviews

Cardiff Bute Terrace Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Good size room with clean bathroom. Exactly what we were needing"

The Parkgate Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A great place to stay in the heart of Cardiff. This is top notch luxury and what great beds and a fantastic sleep, I didn't want to leave. The food is good, but as with all buffet breakfasts don't go at the end as the food will be mostly cold. Bain maries do a fair job but it's not like getting the meal cooked to order. The facilities are great, but beaware that the Spa is NOT included in the room rate and this is an extra £32pp Mon-Thurs and £42pp Fri-Sun. Like good coffee? Go outside the hotel. There are lots of independents in Cardiff where you'll find what you are looking for, but the hotel predominantly uses autonmatic machines and the coffee is not where the rest of the standard sits, i.e. outstanding."

Novotel Cardiff Centre

8/10 Good

"The Hotel is well located and easy to reach by car and an easy walk into city centre. The car park is a bonus, but very expensive! Our room was fairly sizeable for a group of 3. But the amount of tea and coffee provided needs to be improved. The bathroom, although fairly clean, was dated and in poor repair in some areas. The power of the shower was very poor, but the bath was excellent. Pool was lovely as was the steam room, sauna and jaquzzi, but was crowded at times due to half term holidays. No staff monitoring! In general a good stay, but the parking charges might put me off staying again"
