"The hotel was clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. The decor was very dated and in need of some serious TLC. It was quite noisy - lots of doors banging throughout the night, but this probably depends on the guests. Parking could have been free, but was an additional £5 a day, which isn't too bad ..."

"Perfect family room with the most incredible view from the balcony. Devine food and lovely staff. Amazing get away, we will be back. (Breakfast choices were fab, croissants, cereal, pancakes, hot buffet, fruit, yogurts)"

"Everything was great — especially the location. The staff were excellent: friendly, helpful, and made the stay even better. There was also a great sunset view from the dining room, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast wasn’t bad eithe"

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. ..."

"The Parlour: this is a clean, comfortable, very well equipped little place to stay. Do be aware that it is quite remote, reached up several very narrow country roads. We couldn't get any phone signal and the wi-fi doesn't work in or immediately outside the cottage. Kate gave us a warm welcome."
