"We did a quick 2 day visit to Dallas....I booked the hotel before looking at reviews and was a little scared to go after reading them. But it wasn't as bad as the reviews said.....now the hotel IS OLD and in need of an upkeep! It smells like old carpet in some spots....but that was my only complaint. The room was nice and clean and the Happy Hour they give everyday from 530-7pm was so nice. Its in a good area and honestly I would stay there again."

"The room was dusty on some surfaces as well as the curtains and there were no towels upon check-in. I was asked to go to the front desk to pick up towels rather than them bringing them to my room. There was a separate daily charge for parking which just felt like a nickel and dime tactic. "

"No frills, but met the basics for the 12 nights I stayed (for conference). Room was clean; air conditioner was occasionally noisy but kept the temp comfortable; room service didn't refill soap/ conditioner, but didn't run out until the day before I left. Bed was firm and comfortable; 48-52" TV. Bagels, cereals, yogurt, apples, muffins, usually "brown" bananas, plus juices, tea, coffee and milk every morning. Small fitness center met the basics. "Discrimination "

"I had a staff member walk into my room without gym permission. The most traumatizing incident I have ever had in my life. When I confronted the staff they deny it and said I checked out digitally. Hilton staff needs to face the consequences for this behavior. I can only imagine what they have done to other single female guests."
