"Front desk girl was very sour. Male front desk attendant was good. Breakfast was great. Room was small and amenities were poor. Hair/ Body wash was 2 in 1 and no conditioner. Hair dryer was poor. Location was good but check directions for transit due to road construction. All in all - meh. Not the best, not the worst."

"I really enjoyed this place. The rooms are cluttered, and some stuff is worn, but it feels like home. The staff were very helpful. We were able to do laundry and really appreciated that. They gave us a free bus pass, which was awesome. We did not have breakfast but the patio is lovely so that might have been nice. Great location. 15 minute walk to the central old town locations."

"We loved the location of Altstadthotel Stadtkrug - a bit quieter that the other side of the river and it was easy walking distance to all the attractions. The nearby parking garage made our arrival & departure to Salzburg very easy. We found the hotel itself to be a clean, cozy with old world charm, but modern facilities. It was great! The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was good. Very happy that we stayed here and would stay here again."
