Leon's Place Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is the second time I stay at this hotel, and it is an overall good experience. It is in a great location, close to the subway that can take you to the Vatican, the Trevi fountain, etc. There's also a nice little restaurant close to it, and a great gelato place across the street. The air conditioner works well, and it's just a nice property to arrive at in Rome. The staff is really nice, and they are very helpful, they always get me a taxi to pick me up at the exact time I need it, sometimes very early in the morning, this last time at 3:30 in the morning as I had a 6 AM flight, they are very reliable in arranging what is needed. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds, the staff was kind, and the hotel breakfast was tasty and convenient. The only negatives were (i) the shower vacillated between hot and cold water and (ii) the hotel’s iron was scorched when it was given to me and burned/damaged my pants as a result."

"The evening staff was super nice, the young lady and the gentleman were awesome especially the young lady. I stayed there July 9-12. The hotel is not my standard. I am used to different brands. The bathroom is really small. But it could be just how Italy hotel room is. This is my first time in Rome. The room was cleaned. The bathroom was clean. But the shower drain was clogged. Shower is most important thing when I travel. Overall, if you are OK with best Western brand that is recommend that you say there. But not for me."
