"A beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet location a short walk from the busy centre. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. On several occasions they called restaurants to make reservations for us. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There is a lovely courtyard to sit and enjoy drinks and snacks day or night. Overall we loved our stay and would return."

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. Car park which we managed to get a space, parks 10 cars. Neighbourhood very good and it’s a walk down the hill to the bus stop which you...

"Perfect location for exploring Florence. 1mile from the train station (20 min walk). Overlooking the river. Clean. Staff friendly. Good selection of food at breakfast. A lovely terrace to sit on and watch the world go by. Free tea/coffee/water provided throughout the day. Would definitely recommend others to stay at the Hotel Silla! "

"The hotel was amazing. The location was fantastic for our short city break and the staff on reception could not have been more helpful. Our room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We got great nights sleeps as it was so quiet. Would highly recommend. "

"The entire hotel staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating even when we kept their bar open, just to have a glass of excellent wine with our daughter and her boyfriend. Their breakfast was absolutely incredible; all fresh food, and gourmet coffee drinks to die for. The view was amazing and we could’ve spent much more time here. It was a true oasis just outside of Florence. "

"Good 1 night stay close to the airport for an early flight. Good size room with ac that worked well. Staff were friendly at check in. Shower is tiny, not enough outlets in the room to charge your phone etc, and strong scent (cleaner, air freshener) in the room but can be aired out."
