"It’s serene ambience. The food in the on-site restaurant is really good. Breakfast is great. The view is amazing. Nice personnel. The property is far from everything else so make sure you have a rental car if you chose this property. The puma trail is fun. Rooms have dehumidifiers which is nice. The doors from the balcony have large spaces between the door and the floor so expect bugs in the room. "

"The hotel grounds are BEAUTIFUL!!! I woke up to a gorgeous view that I could see RIGHT FROM MY BED! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Chris was the absolute best!!!! He helped with everything from checking in to reservations to recommendations! The hotel itself is not in a “hot spot” but it is conveniently located on the route that leads to La Fortuna and popular hot springs. So, it was an easy drive to get to different activities and restaurants. I will definitely return!"

"Our stay at the lodge was wonderful! It’s an older property with lots of charm. Views are beautiful! Room was large and we loved time on the balcony in the hanging chair. Board games and chess and checkers for some good family time. Pool was beautiful and chilly for those hot days. Restaurant had good food and the team was flexible with times (we came in at 2 after activities and they served us lunch, which was much appreciated!). Loved our stay! Saw coati, hummingbirds, lots of cool insects and a tayra on property. Recommend driving to the lodge in the daylight. Very close to Mistico Hanging Bridges."
