Hotel Astoria Ipanema (antigo Mar Ipanema)
The hotel is the best in Rio! Super close to beach and they provide beach supplies so you don’t have to rent. Also the room is really up to date and nice and comfy.

Miramar by Windsor Copacabana
Me and my husband visited in may and we found the hotel great. In an ideal location as close to ipanema side and slightly away from The main cocopabana strip. Also walking distance to lots of food and bars. Also has a lovely rooftop which we enjoyed for relaxing drinks with views of copabana ...
